CSL AE Eligibility
Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Accountant - a) Graduate with M.Com and Seven years post qualification experience
in Finance/ Accounting in a Government Establishment or Public Sector
Undertaking or Private Sector Undertaking. OR b) Graduate with a pass in
CA/CMA Intermediate examination with Five years post qualification experience
in Finance / Accounting in a Government Establishment or Public Sector
Undertaking or Private Sector Undertaking. Out of the above experience at a)
and b), two years experience should be in a Supervisory Grade. Experience of
working in a computerized environment would be an added advantage. |

2. Assistant
Engineer (Painting) - (I) a) Degree in
Chemistry OR Three year Diploma in any branch of Engineering from a State
Board of Technical Education. b) NACE or FROSIO level-I Inspector
qualification. c) Seven years post qualification experience in painting works
in a Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment.
OR (II) ITI(NTC) Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in
the trade of Painter with 22 years of experience in painting works in
Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment. |

3. Assistant
Engineer (Welding) - Three year Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Seven
years post qualification experience in welding works in a Shipyard or
Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment, out of which two
years should be in supervising welding works and workmen. OR ITI (NTC)
Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of
Welder with 22 years of experience in welding in a Shipyard or Dockyard or
Engineering Company or Government Establishment. |

4. Assistant
Engineer (Structural) - Three year Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Seven
years post qualification experience in structural fittings works in a
Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment, out
of which two years should be in supervising structural works and workmen. OR
ITI (NTC) Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the
trade of Sheet Metal Worker with 22 years of experience in structural
fittings works in a Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government
Establishment. |

The
Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

CSL AE Selection Process 2022:
The method of selection shall
include:-
(i) Phase I - Objective Type Test– 40
Marks & Descriptive Type Test – 40 Marks (ii)Phase II - Power point
presentation on work experience (20 Marks)

CSL AE Post:
(i) Applicants should go to the
website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page → CSL, Kochi) and proceed to the
link for online application. The application consists of two phases –
Registration and Submission of application. Applicants should not submit more
than one application to the same post. Application once submitted shall be
final.
(ii) Applicants meeting the
notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application
page, complete the Registration and submit their application online through the
online application facility from 25 October 2022 and the facility can be
accessed through our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page → CSL, Kochi).
