NCESS Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Project
Associate I – Essential: Master’s Degree in Marine Geology/ Geology / Environmental
Science/Coastal Management/ Remote Sensing/Geography and Geoinformatics or
equivalent from recognized University. Desirable: Working experience in Remote sensing and GIS software (ERDAS, Arc GIS)
with skill in handling statistical and graphical software. Experience in
field work related to Coastal Zone Management/CRZ. |

2. Project
Associate II – Essential: 1. Master’s Degree in Marine Geology/ Geology / Environmental Science/
Coastal Management / Remote Sensing/Geography and Geoinformatics or
equivalent from recognized University and 2. Two years of experience in the
relevant field of CRZ/ CZMP surveying and mapping. Desirable: Working
experience in Remote sensing and GIS software (ERDAS, Arc GIS) with skill in
handling statistical and graphical software. Experience in field work related
to Coastal Zone Management/CRZ. |

3. Project
Scientist II – Essential: 1. Doctoral Degree in Geology/ Marine Geology/ Geography/
Environmental Science/ Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics or Master’s Degree
in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent
and 2. Three years’ experience in Remote sensing and GIS software (ERDAS, Arc
GIS) with skill in handling statistical and graphical software. Experience in
field work related to Coastal Zone Management/CRZ. |

4. Project
Scientist III – Essential: 1. Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or
Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and 2. Seven Years’
Experience in Remote sensing and GIS softwares (ERDAS, Arc GIS) with skill in
handling statistical and graphical softwares. Desirable: Experience in field work related to Coastal Zone Management/CRZ |

5. Senior
Project Associate – Essential: Doctoral Degree in Marine Geology /Geology / Environmental
Science/Remote sensing and Geoinformatics from recognized University Desirable:
1. Three years working experience in Remote sensing and GIS softwares (ERDAS,
Arc GIS) with skill in handling statistical and graphical softwares from
Government sector. 2. Experience in field work related to Coastal Zone
Management/CRZ. |

Salary Details:

1. Project
Associate I - (1) 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars
who are selected through a. National Eligibility Tests –CSIRUGC NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or b. A selection process
through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (2) 25,000/- + HRA for
others who do not fall under (1) above |

2. Project
Associate II - (1) 35,000/- + HRA to Scholars
who are selected through a. National Eligibility Tests –CSIRUGC NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or b. A selection process
through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (2) 28,000/- + HRA for
others who do not fall under (1) above. |

Scientist II - Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA ** |

NCESS Project Associate Selection Process 2023:
|
Eligible
candidates will be called for test /interview. Intimation for test/interview
will be sent to their email id. |
