CKSRU Fireman Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Fireman - Educational
Qualification: a) Pass in SSLC b) Training in Fire Fighting from a State Fire Force or Public Sector
Undertaking or recognised Fire Fighting course in the Armed Forces or
Training in Fire Watch / Patrol from State Fire Fighting Force. c) Valid First Aid Certificate from St. John’s Ambulance Association /
Recognised Institutions. Experience: One year experience for those with training in Fire Fighting or 5
years’ experience for those with training in Fire Watch / Patrol as a Fire
Watchman in State Fire Force or in a large Industrial Undertaking or in the
Armed Forces. Desirable: Ability to communicate in Hindi/Bengali |

2. Junior
Safety Assistant - Educational
Qualification: a) Pass in SSLC b) One year Diploma in Fire / Safety from a Government recognized
institute or Public Sector undertaking, or equivalent qualifications in the
case of Ex servicemen. Experience: Four years experience in Safety in Public Sector Undertaking or a
Factory and must be computer savvy. Desirable: Ability to communicate in Hindi/Bengali |

The
Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

CKSRU Fireman Selection Process 2023:
CKSRU may follow the
following process to select the candidates.

Application
Fee/Exam Fee for CKSRU Fireman:
|
i) Application fee of ₹ 700/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges
extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit
card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our
Online application facility from 08 June 2023 to 26 June 2023. No other mode
of payment shall be accepted. ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)
need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application
fee. |
How to apply
for CKSRU Fireman Post:
i) Applicants should go to the
website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page->CKSRU) and proceed to the link
for online application. The application consists of two phases - Registration
and Submission of application. Applicants should not submit more than one
application to the same post. Application once submitted shall be final.
ii) Applicants meeting the
notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application
page, complete the Registration and submit their application online through the
online application facility from 08 June 2023 and the facility can be accessed
through our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career Page→CKSRU). Application
submitted direct or by any other mode shall not be accepted.
