BEL Trainee Engineer Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification

1. Trainee
Engineer - I - Qualification: B.E/B.Tech(4 year course) Engineering degree or equivalent in Computer
Science from recognized University/Institution/College with 55% & above
for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates. Minimum Post
Qualification Experience as on 01.06.2023: Minimum 01 years / C++, Java, Algorithm Development, SW Documentation. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

Terms Of
Engagement And Allowances:

Trainee
Engineer – I: Trainee Engineers will be
engaged initially for a period of TWO years which may be extended up to a
maximum of three years (including initial period) based on Project
requirement and individual’s performance. 1st year - Rs. 30,000/- 2nd year - Rs. 35,000/- 3rd year - Rs. 40,000/- i) Area allowance* @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month) *Only
to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer location
Rs.12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching
charges, footwear allowance, etc. |

Project
Engineers – I: Project Engineers will be
engaged initially for a period of THREE years which may be extended up to a
maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on Project requirement
and individual’s performance. . 1st year - Rs. 40,000/- 2nd year - Rs. 45,000/- 3rd year - Rs. 50,000/- 4th year - Rs.55,000/- i.) Area allowance* @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month)
*Only to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer
location Rs.12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance,
stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. |
BEL Trainee Engineer Selection Process 2023:
i) Candidate should meet the eligibility
criteria as specified in the advertisement.
ii) Selection will be through a
Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written
test). 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the
interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for
interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.
iii) The names of candidates
shortlisted for written test/interview and final selection will be notified on
our Company’s website.
Application
Fee/Exam Fee for BEL Trainee Engineer:

Trainee Engineer - I - Rs. 177/- (Rs. 150 + 18% GST) Project
Engineer - I - Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST) Candidates
belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from payment of application
fee. i.) The
application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online).
Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the
payment. ii.) General/EWS/OBC candidates have to
enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the
Application Form. Please check the link given on BEL website regarding
instructions for making SBI online payment. iii.) Candidates
may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before
remitting Application Fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded. iv.) in case
a candidate applies for both posts, Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer,
the application fee should be remitted separately for each post. |

i) Candidates who are
fulfilling the eligibility criteria and desirous of applying for the above
posts may apply online by clicking the link provided against the advertisement.
ii) No manual / paper
applications will be entertained and candidates are advised not to send any
hard copy to this office. Candidates are required to enter all information
correctly in the online application form and verify the same before submission,
as changes shall not be permitted after submission of the application form.
