NIT Trichy JRF & Technical Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Senior
Research Fellow - M.E/M.Tech with
First class in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Materials
Science/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Technology/Production
Engineering from recognized university with or without GATE qualification
with at least two year experience. Desirable Qualification/Experience
: Knowledge in
Corrosion/Tribology/Materials/ Heat Treatment/Product Development/Coatings
are preferred. Knowledge in Modelling and Simulation also may be desirable. |

2. Junior
Research Fellow - M.E/M.Tech with
First class in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Materials
Science/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Technology/Production
Engineering from recognized university with or without GATE qualification . Desirable
Qualification/Experience : Knowledge in Corrosion/Tribology/Materials/ Heat Treatment/Product
Development/Coatings are preferred. Knowledge in Modelling and Simulation
also may be desirable. |

3. Technical
Assistant - B.E/B.Tech with First class in
Mechanical/Metallurgical and Material Science from recognized University with
or without GATE qualification. or M.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics/Materials science)
from recognized university with or without GATE/NET qualification with two
years’ experience. OR M.E/M.Tech with First class in Metallurgical and
Materials Engineering/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing
Technology/Production Engineering from recognized University with or without
GATE qualification . Desirable
Qualification/Experience : Knowledge in Corrosion/Tribology/Materials/Heat Treatment/Product

Salary Details:

1. Senior Research
Fellow - Rs. 35,000/month plus HRA |
|
2. Junior
Research Fellow - Rs. 31,000/month plus HRA |
|
3. Technical
Assistant - Rs. 21,600/month |
