ICMR-NIMR Project Technician Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:

1. Project
Assistant - Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in
Life Science subjects from a recognized university with three years’ work
experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Life Science
subjects. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be
given to candidates having two wheelers with valid Driving Licence and having
android mobile phones. Candidates having knowledge of local language will be
preferred. Experience of research /field activities in recognized
organization. Knowledge of Computer Applications, experience of working in
rural/tribal areas will be given preference. |

2. Project
Technician -III – Essential Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects AND two years’ diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technician OR One year DMLT plus one year required experience from
a recognized organization OR Two years’ field/Laboratory experience. *B. Sc
degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience. Desirable Qualification: Graduate in science subjects from a recognized university with 1-year
work experience in hospital/laboratory/health system/community /field work
from a Government Organisation or recognized Institution or Master’s degree
in relevant subject. Preference will be given to candidates having two wheelers
with valid Driving Licence and having android mobile phones. Candidates
having knowledge of local language will be preferred. |

3. Project
Technician- I – Essential Qualification: High School* or equivalent WITH one-year experience in
hospital/laboratory/health system/community /field work from a Government
Organisation or recognized Institution. *Intermediate with science subjects
shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years’ experience. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having two wheelers with valid
Driving Licence and having android mobile phones. Candidates having knowledge
of local language will be preferred. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

Interested and eligible
candidates possessing the aforementioned Essential Qualification only may
appear for Walk-in-Interview in the Institute with all Original and
self-attested copies of all certificate/testimonials and valid identity proof
(Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) and one passport
size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview
without the Original Certificates.
