DRDO GTRE Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Graduate
Apprentice Trainees (B.E/ B.Tech./ Equivalent) - A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory
University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of
Parliament |
|
2. Diploma
Apprentice Trainees - (i) A diploma in
engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational
established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute
recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a
diploma. (ii) Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order
that he/ she may hold a diploma in Engg./Technology. |

3. ITI
Apprentice Trainees - (i) A certificate in
vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the
secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for
Technical education. (ii) A sandwich course student who is undergoing
training in order that he may hold a certificate mentioned in (i) above. |

4. Graduate
Apprentice Trainees (General Stream) - A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution
empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament / Educational
Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by
the State Government or Central Government. |

For B.E /
B.Tech. / Diploma (Engineering) Apprentice Trainees & General Stream -
B.Com. /B.Sc. / B.A (Non Engineering) Apprentice Trainees only; Candidates
who have passed in the year 2019/2020/2021 (last three years) as regular
candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the
qualifying exam earlier than 2019 are not eligible. |

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for

PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

DRDO GTRE Apprentice Selection Process 2022:
1. Graduate Apprentice
Trainees (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent); Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI
Apprentice Trainees / General Stream (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A) Apprentice
Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines,
selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of
Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory
verification of the documents,

candidates will be published in DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check
regularly on the website for updates
