2 Army HQ Signal Regiment Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Cook - (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent; and (ii) Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in Trade. |
|
2. Barber - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board with
proficiency in Barber's Trade job. Desirable: One year experience in the Trade. |
|
3. EBR
(Equipment Boot Repairer) - Essential: (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board. (ii) Should be able to carry out all canvas, textile and leather repair
and replacement of equipment and boots. |
|
4. Washer
man - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board. Desirable: Must be able to wash Military/Civilian clothes thoroughly well. |
|
5. Tailor - (i). Conversant with the duties of Tailor (ii). Matric/10th pass from recognized Board. |

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

2 Army HQ Signal Regiment Selection Process 2021:
The selection will be done on the
basis of written and practical tests which will be conducted in Meerut. The
syllabus for written test will be based as per essential qualifications. The
test will comprise of questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning,
Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness with the negative
marking 0.25 marks for eac

- The
candidates who fulfill the above requirement may apply for the above mentioned
posts to "The Commanding Officer, 2 Army Headquarters Signal Regiment,
Roorkee Road, Meerut Cantt-250001" as per format of application appended
below.
- Application
form duly completed in all respects with enclosures should be sent in a closed
envelope through registered post only with a superscription on the envelope
"APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF
(Write name of the post)" AND CATEGORY:
- Age limit shall be as on the closing date for
receipt of application from candidates. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules will
be applicable for reserved categories.
- Last date of receipt of completed application
form is 05 October 2021.
- Recently
one passport size photograph will be pasted on the TOP RIGHT corner of the
application and 02 passport size photographs will be enclosed along with the
application form in additional small envelope.
- Date and
time of written and practical test will be informed by post separately.
- Two (02)
self addressed envelope (size 4"x10") duly affixed with postage stamp
of Rs. 40/- on each will be enclosed with the application form to dispatch call
letter for written and practical test by speed post. In case self addressed
envelope is found less value than postage stamp of Rs. 40/- application will be
rejected.
