(S-01): 2 posts (01-UR; 01-OBC) Essential
Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. Thesis submitted in Science/Chemical Sciences/Chemistry with
Synthetic Organic Chemistry as the core area of research Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. degree awarded in Synthetic Organic chemistry with asymmetric
synthesis and/or multi-step synthesis of natural products/APIs be core area
of research as evident by the Ph. D. thesis and peer reviewed publications
(in SCI journals). Having postdoctoral work experience and/or chemical/
pharmaceutical industrial experience is an added advantage. |

(S-02): 1 post (UR) Essential
Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D thesis submitted (Science/Engineerin g) with organic waste
treatment methods/ processes as the core area of research Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D. degree awarded in Science/Engineering with Organic waste
treatment methods/ processes as the core area of research. Expertise in
production /processes of organic waste to bioenergy/biochemicals/ other
value-added products, as evident by research publications (in SCI journals)
in the subject areas mentioned above is highly desirable. Hands-on industrial
experience in the design and operation of high-rate bio-digesters for
biological waste management would be added advantage. |

Educational qualifications & Experience: M.V.Sc. with specialization in Veterinary Pathology OR Ph.D. submitted
in veterinary pathology from a recognized University /Institute with
Veterinary Pathology as the core area of research Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Experience in gross pathology of laboratory animals, various staining
procedures, hematology and parasitological techniques, histopathology slide
evaluation is highly desirable. At least two peer reviewed publications (in
SCI journals) and/or patents in the areas mentioned above. Working knowledge
of GLP principles, small animal surgical techniques and ethical practices in
laboratory animal experimentation, preferably in GLP laboratory, is an added
advantage. |

Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. Thesis submitted in Science/Life Sciences/Entomolog y with
Insect Entomology as the core area of research Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. degree in Sciences/Life Sciences /Entomology with Insect
Entomology as the core area of research as evident by peer reviewed
publications (in SCI journals) in the subject areas mentioned above. Having
expertise in Insect physiology experience in both on field as well as in
laboratory in effectively dealing with crop protection from pests. Having
postdoctoral experience and/or Agri. Universities/Institutes
/Pheromone/Entomology labs of Agri. industry is an added advantage. |

Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. (Science/ Chemical /Physical Sciences/ Chemistry/Physics) with
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance as the core area of research and two years of
post-Ph. D. research experience in the core area mentioned above Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Post-Ph.D. research experience with NMR spectroscopy as the core
subject area of research. Expertise in the development of high resolution
Solid-state /Solution-state NMR methods and their applications to
Biosolids/Material Science /Polymers/Structural Organic Chemistry, as
evidenced by the Ph.D. thesis and peer reviewed publications (in SCI
journals). Having hands-on experience in pulse programming/ sequence
optimization and Solid-state NMR techniques relevant to polymorphism/drug impurities,
peptides and NMR instrumentation is an added advantage. |

Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. (Sciences/ Life Sciences/Biochemistry) with virology as core
area of research and two years of post-Ph. D. research experience in the core
area mentioned above Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Post-PhD research experience in the area of virology. Experience in the
areas of host pathogen interactions, animal models of viral infections and
screening small molecules against viral diseases employing in-vitro and
invivo animal models as evidenced by peer reviewed publications (in SCI
journals) and/or patents/industry experience are highly desirable. |

Scientist (PS-07): 1 post (UR) Essential
Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. (Science/ Chemical Sciences/ Chemistry) with Bioorganic
Chemistry / Lipid Chemistry/ Chemical Biology as the core area of research
and at least three years of postPh.D. research experience in the subject area
mentioned above Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Having (i) post-Ph.D. research experience in the field of design and
development of novel lipidbased delivery systems and nucleic acid-based
therapeutics as evidenced by peer reviewed publications (in SCI journals) in
the core research areas mentioned above and (ii) work experience in cellular
and animal models and in the interface of chemistry and biology are highly
desirable. Research experience in pharmaceutical company in above mentioned
fields is an added advantage. |

Scientist (PS-08): 1 post (UR) Essential
Educational qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. (Science/ Chemical Sciences/ Chemistry) with Synthetic Organic
Chemistry / Process Chemistry as the core area of research and three years of
post-Ph.D. research experience in the subject area mentioned above Desirable
Qualifications & Experience: Having (i) post-Ph.D. research experience in the field of design and
development of novel multistep synthetic approaches towards natural products,
new chemical entities, APIs & their intermediates and process development
of APIs as evidenced by peer reviewed publications (in SCI journals) or
patents in the core research areas mentioned above and (ii) Work experience
in process development, process validation of APIs and knowledge regulatory
affairs, filing DMF are highly desirable. Experience in
chemical/pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage. |

Qualifications & Experience: Post-Ph.D. research experience with heterogeneous catalysis as the core
area of research as evidenced by peer reviewed publications (in SCI journals)
in the core subject area mentioned above. Proven expertise in design and
synthesis of solid catalysts and their characterization, vapor phase
catalytic reactions related to the preparation of fine chemicals/API and
biofuels are highly desirable. Experience in chemical/ pharmaceutical
industry is an added advantage. |
