Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

Executive (Safety)	Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Civil/Power Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution with a full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labor Institute/Institution recognized under the Factories Act/Rules or Full Time Engineering Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety with at least 60% marks from a University/ Institution recognized under the Factories Act/rules of any state. Experience Profile: Should have working experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act; development & implementation of safety inspection/monitoring & audit systems; implementation of safety norms; enforcement of preventive safety measures etc. Experience in organizing safety & fire-fighting trainings with good co-ordination skills would be preferred. Experience Requirement: 03 years post qualification executive experience in the area of Safety preferably in power industry/manufacturing industry in a govt./public sector undertaking or private company of repute. (Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date of acquiring Degree in Engineering).
2.	Executive (IT-Data Centre/ Data Recovery)	Qualification: Engineering Degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Communication with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Experience Profile: Should have knowledge/experience in Unix OS, Oracle RDBMS, Networks, Windows Server, Enterprise Storage, database administration etc. Candidates having hands-on experience of SAP will be preferred. Experience Requirement: 03 years post qualification executive experience in IT hardware, Operating System and Database Administration. Job Profile: The incumbent shall be required to work in shifts including night shift at data centre and will be responsible for overall functioning of data centre activities like Monitoring and Maintenance of ERP/Non-ERP hardware consisting of Servers, Storage System, Tape Library etc. at Data Centre including replication with DR site; Extending help to end-users for SAP transport requests, Role Assignments, and troubleshooting of user complaints; Monitoring of Data Centre Infrastructure like PACs, UPS, Access Control Systems, Air Purification System, Fire Fighting System, CCTV etc. & Coordination with different OEMs in case of Maintenance like breakdown/preventive, upgradation of System Hardware/Firmware/OS etc. as well as Installation and Commissioning of new systems at Data Centre.
3.	Senior Executive (Solar)	Qualification: Engineering Degree in Civil with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with M.Tech. Degree will be preferred. Experience Profile: Should have relevant work experience in solar power sector in areas of layout and overall plant system design from civil engineering point of view. Should be able to understand and interpret geotechnical, topographical studies and bathymetric survey, conduct solar resource analysis, shadow analysis etc., assess development of infrastructure facilities for the solar plant site, prepare detailed item wise break down and cost estimate including financial modeling, understand & develop proposal / bids and undertake erection, testing & commissioning of solar projects. Experience Requirement: 10 years post qualification executive experience out of which at least 5 years should be in Solar Power sector. Candidates with experience of working on International Projects / Consultancy in Power sector will be preferred.
4.	Specialist (Solar)	Qualification: Engineering Degree in Electrical with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with M.Tech./M.B.A. (or equivalent) degree will be preferred. Experience Profile: Should have relevant work experience in Engineering Consultancy as PMC consultant / Owner's Engineer role for implementation of Solar PV Projects / preparation of DPR / FR / Project engineering, management, planning and execution of Solar PV Projects by leading cross-functional teams. Should be able to understand bids & prepare techno-commercial proposals, undertake detailed technical due diligence for the Solar PV sites and prepare reports and inputs for the client for transaction structuring for developers / authorities, provide technical/commercial inputs for commercial agreements / documents, finalize the technical aspects of the bid documents and identify E&S risks to develop appropriate safeguards & mitigation measures. Experience Requirement: 18 years post qualification executive experience out of which at least 8 years should be in Solar Power sector. Candidates with experience of working on International Projects / Consultancy in Power sector will be preferred.

Interested candidates should log on to our website www.ntpccareers.net or visit careers section at www.ntpc.co.in for applying. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates are required to possess a valid email ID. NTPC will not be responsible for bouncing back of any email sent to the candidates. Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC (NCL) category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/EXSM category & female candidates need not pay the registration fee.

Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. NTPC will not be responsible, in case a candidate deposits the fee in wrong account.

Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available on the website. The candidate is required to make the payment before proceeding for online application. After making successful payment, the Challan number, Bank Reference No, date of payment etc are required to be filled up in the online application. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility criteria before paying the registration fee. After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the system with unique registration number. Copy of registration slip may be retained by the candidate for future reference. No document is required to be sent to us by post. It is mandatory that eligible candidates go through the full text of the advertisement and agree to all the conditions given, while applying for the post.
