Tasking Staff (MTS) Exam Results 2020:
Staff
Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) for
recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination,
2019 from 02.08.2019 to 22.08.2019, at different centres across the country.
The result of Paper-I of the above Examination was declared on 05.11.2019. An
additional result was also declared on 11.11.2019. A total of 1,20,713
candidates were short-listed to appear in Paper-II. The Paper-II Examination
was conducted on 26.11.2019 in which 96478 candidates appeared.
In
consonance with the provisions of the Notice of Examination, candidates for
each State/ UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I +
preference of State/ UT exercised by them in the online Application Form,
subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards in Paper-II. As per the
provision under Para17.5 of the Notice of Examination, the qualifying marks in
Paper-II have been fixed as 20 marks i.e. 40% for UR category and 17.5 marks
i.e. 35% for all other reserved categories.
Vacancies
for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) Examination 2019 have been received in
two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years. Therefore, in
consonance with Para-17.8 of Notice of the Examination, age groupwise, State/
UT-wise and category-wise cut-offs have been fixed. The candidates who are
eligible for both the age-groups have been first considered in the age-group of
18-25 years. Further, as per the provisions contained in Para-16.3 of the
Notice of Examination, the candidates have been shortlisted against the
vacancies of only those States/ UTs for which they have given their preference
in the online Application Form.
