Note:-1. Reservation and age relaxation for various categories/co1nmunities is as per the Govt. of India Rules/ for the purpose and as revised by the Railway Board from time to time.

2. As per the Act, it is not obligatory on tl1e part of the 'Railways to offer any employment to the Apprentices on completio11 of their Appre11ticeship trai11i11g. Accordingly, tl1e Act Apprentices i1nparted training in Railway establishments, will have no claim to seek employment 011 Railways on the basis of such training

Eligibility Criteria for RWF Vacancy 2019:

Educational Qualification:

Fitter	The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices' Act, 1961, in this Factory, Must have passed 10^th class examination or its equivalent with Minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as on the date of issue of Notification .and also should possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting Training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). The Training in the designated trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic will be for a period of one year. Whereas the period of training for COE Group (CNC Programming-cum-Operator), is for a period of six months. Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.

Age Limit: (As on 15.11.2019)

The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years as on 15.11.2019, which is the cutoff date for receiving applications. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 03 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant instructions of Railway Board and as amended from to time. The candidates who want to avail the benefit of reservation of SC/ST, must produce his/her caste certificate in Government of India format issued by appropriate authority as per Annexure-B. Similarly, the candidates who want to avail the benefit of reservation of OBC, must produce caste certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued on or after 01.01.2019 in Government of India format by appropriate authority as per Annexure-C
