1. Union Cabinet approved new umbrella scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan, PM-AASHA. 
2. Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has also approved electrification of remaining un-electrified broad gauge routes of Indian Railways
3. Competition Commission of Indiaapproved the acquisition of Pipeline Infrastructure by India Infrastructure Trust.
4. Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvilaunched the country’s first “National Scholarship Portal Mobile App” (NSP Mobile App) in New Delhi.
