Eligibility Criteria for WBPSC Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Probation-Cum-After Care Officer - (i) Degree of a recognised University or its equivalent; (ii) Administrative experience or experience of social Welfare work for at least two years

2. Medical Technologist (ECG) Grade-II - Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.

3. Medical Technologist (Laboratory) Grade-III - Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma Course in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal or one year Diploma Course in laboratory Technology from any University / Institution recognized by Government of West Bengal where basic qualification for undergoing the said Course is B.Sc.

Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2018)

Pay Scale Details for WBPSC Medical Technologist, Probation-cum:

Pay Scale:

1. Probation-Cum-After Care Officer - Rs. 9,000/- - Rs.40, 500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,400/-

2. Medical Technologist (ECG) Grade-II - Rs. 7,100/- - Rs. 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-

3. Medical Technologist (Laboratory) Grade-III - Rs. 7,100/- - Rs. 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-

Selection Procedure for WBPSC Medical Technologist, Probation-cum:

Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Interview

Exam Fee / Application Fee Details for WBPSC Medical Technologist, Probation-cum:

Application Fee:

Fee: Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only. In addition to that, the candidates will be charged as follows:

(i) For online payment through debit/credit cards: Convenience fee 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.

(ii) For online payment through net banking: Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.

(iii) For offline payment through bank counter: Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only. S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. NO EXEMPTION OF FEE IS AVAILABLE TO S.C./S.T. CANDIDATES OF OTHER STATES AND B.C. CANDIDATES. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination
