Eligibility Criteria
for UPSC Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Assistant Legal Adviser - Degree in law from a recognized
University or equivalent Note Equivalent degree is LLB. OR Master’s Degree in
law from a recognized University or equivalent Note Equivalent degree is LLM.
B. EXPERIENCE For LLB degree Holders- Three years experience at bar dealing
with criminal laws or fiscal laws. For LLM degree Holders- One year experience
at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws.+ For LLB degree Holders-
Three years experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws. For
LLM degree Holders- One year experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or
fiscal laws.
2.
Assistant Director Hindi Typewriting and Hindi Stenography -
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the
compulsory subject or with Hindi Medium. or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
University with Hindi as one of the compulsory subjects at 10 plus 2 level.
(ii) Proficiency in Hindi stenography with speed of 100 words per minute in
Hindi shorthand and 40 words per minute in Hindi typewriting, corresponding to
12000 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions for each word. (iii) One year
diploma or certificate course in Hindi typewriting and Hindi Stenography
conducted by Industrial Training Institute or other institutions under the
aegis of the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)or training
imparted by the institute of State Governments or Union territories + Five
years’ experience in Hindi stenography including Hindi typewriting.
3.
Deputy Director (Examination Reforms) - Bachelor’s Degree in
any branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized university or equivalent
+ Five years post qualification experience in teaching at degree
level/research/preparation of teaching learning material/curriculum
development/ educational testing/examination reforms/development and
administration of online examination.
4.
Associate Professor (Technical) (Electronics and Communication Engineering) - Bachelor
of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering/Master of
Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering with First Class or
equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or Master
of Engineering/Master of Technology and Ph.D. or equivalent in Electronics and
Communication Engineering + Minimum of five years experience in
teaching/research/industry of which two years post Ph D experience is
desirable. Note 1 If a Class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in
aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. If a Grade
Point system is adopted the Cumulative Grade Point Average will be converted
into equivalent marks as below-
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 40
Years), (For Post 2 - 30 Years), (For
Post 3 - 43 Years), (For Post 4 - 55
Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC,
10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years
for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation

plus Rs.5400 (Pre-revised)

Deputy Director (Examination Reforms) - Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/-
(Level-11 in the revised pay matrix as per 7th CPC)
