Eligibility Criteria
for GBPIHED Vacancy 2017:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Junior Project Fellow - First Class Masters degree in
Physics/Earth Sciences/Geography or relevant subjects/ B. Tech in Civil/
Agriculture/ Environmental Engineering + Experience of working with GPS/ GIS
environment Experience of field work in high altitude areas across
Himalaya/glaciers in Uttarakhand
2.
Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator - Intermediate with 3
years field experience in Himalayan terrain Preference will be given to
intermediate science + Experience of working on high altitude areas/glaciers in
Uttarakhand or Arunachal Pradesh
3.
Programme Consultant - Ist Class Master Degree in
Science/Social Science/Earth Science; supported by research publications and/or
five years experience in technology demonstration/ capacity building
4.
Junior Project Fellow - First Class Masters degree in
Geography/Botany/ Forestry
5.
Field Technician - Graduation in Science/Social science +
Two years experience of working in field in Himalayan conditions
6.
Field/Lab. Attendant - Intermediate with 3 years experience of
working in field in Himalayan conditions
7.
Senior Project Fellow - First Class Masters degree in
Microbiology with two years research experience as JRF/JPF on microbial
communities
8.
Field Assistant - Graduation
9.
Junior Project Fellow - First Class Masters degree in Botany/
Forestry/ Environment/ Chemistry/ Economics/ Biodiversity/ Bio-statistics + Experience
of working in Himalayan region
10.
Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator - Intermediate
(Preferably Science) with 3 years experience of field/ laboratory work +
Experience of working in Himalayan Region/with any established laboratory
Knowledge of computers application
Age Limit:
Candidate’s

Junior Project Fellow - Rs. 16,000/ month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/-
2.
Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator - Rs. 10,000/- pm fixed
3.
Programme Consultant - Rs. 25,000/- pm +HRA @8%
4.
Junior Project Fellow -Rs. 16,000/ month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/-
5.
Field Technician - Rs. 12,000 per month fixed
6.
Field/Lab. Attendant - Rs. 10,000/ month
7.
Senior Project Fellow - Rs. 18,000/ month +HRA 8% or (Rs. 1800/-
8.
Field Assistant - Rs. 10,000/- pm fixed
9.
Junior Project Fellow - Rs. 16,000/ month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/-
10.
