Eligibility Criteria for
OPSC Vacancy 2017:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates
who have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry
& Veterinary Science or equivalent from a recognized
Institute are Eligible to apply OPSC Recruitment 2017
Age Limit:
A candidate must have attained
the age of 21 (twenty one) years and must not be above
the age of 32 (thirty
two) years on the
l" day of January
2017 i.e. he/she must have been born not
earlier than 2nd
January
1985 and not later than 1st
January
1996. Age relaxation for candidates in different
categories for availing
relaxation and reservation benefits will be as per Government
Rules prescribed for the purpose
(a) Provided that, a candidate who
comes under more than one category, he/she will be eligible for only one age
relaxation benefit, which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her.
(b) Provided further that upper age
limit is realaxable up to 40 years in case of V AS/ A VAS at present working
under Fisheries & ARD Department, on contractual basis.
(c) Provided further that such
contractual VAS/AVAS shall be allowed aile percent extra marks on the total
marks of the examination for each completed year of continuous service subject
to a maximum of fifteen percent, which shall be added to the marks secured by
them for deciding the merit position as per the G. A. Department Notification
No. 1147, dated 17.01.2014.
