Eligibility Criteria for
SSC Vacancy 2017:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Senior Technical Assistant - Degree in Agriculture followed by
Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy/Plant Breeding/Genetics of a recognized
University or equivalent.
2.
Assistant Examiner - Degree from recognized University or equivalent
3.
Junior Chemist - Master’s Degree in chemistry or Dairy Chemistry or
Oil Technology or Food Technology from a recognized University. OR
II) Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry
as 4 one of the subjects or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in chemistry from a
recognized University or equivalent and with two years’ experience in
analytical work.
4.
Handicrafts Promotion Officer- Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Fine Arts
(Fashion or Textile or Apparel Production) of four years’ duration from a
recognized University or Institute with one year experience in field of
handicrafts or cottage or small scale industry. OR Diploma in fine Arts
(Fashion or Textile Design) of three years’ duration from a recognized
University or Board or Institute plus two years’ experience in field of
handicrafts or cottage or small scale industry.
5.
Store Clerk - Matriculation from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
6.
Fertiliser Inspector - i) Graduation in Agriculture or Science with
Chemistry from a recognized University. II) Possessing one year experience in
handling or analysis of fertilizers.
7.
Senior Library & Information Assistant- Graduation in Agriculture or
Science with Chemistry from a recognized University. i) Degree
of recognized University or equivalent. II) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Diploma 7 in Library Science of a recognized University OR equivalent Diploma
in Library science of a recognized University/ Institute OR equivalent. IIi)
Professional experience in a Library of Standing OR Certificate in Computer
Applications from a recognized Institute.
8.
Scientific Assistant (Mechanical) - (i) Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering with two years experience in related field. OR (II) Degree in
Mechanical Engineering.
9.
Medical Social Worker-Master of Arts (Social Works) OR B.A. with Diploma
in Social Service Administration from a recognized Institute and ability to
converse in Hindi.
10.
Stockman - : i) 12th pass from a recognized board. II) Two years Diploma in Animal
Science OR veterinary Science OR Animal Husbandry OR Dairying from a recognized
Institute. IIi) Two years’ experience in livestock farming relating to
supervision of feeding of livestock and maintenance of stock registers

Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1,3,4,7 to 9, 12, 13, 15 - 21-30 years),

post 11, 14 - 21-28 years). The Upper age limit is
relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with
