Eligibility Criteria for NIT Assistant Registrar / Librarian Jobs 2017
Educational Qualification:
1.
Registrar - Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55%
marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized
University/Institute + At least 15 years’ experience
2.
Senior Student Activitiy & Sports officer - First Class
Master’s Degree in Physical Education or in Sports Science with at least 60%
marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
followed) with a consistently good academic record;
3.
Senior Technical officer -B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical
Engineering with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) and
consistently excellent academic record
4.
Assistant Librarian - Master’s Degree in Library Science/
Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree
with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently
good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service
5.
Assistant Registrar -Masters’ degree in any discipline with
at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a
recognized University/Institute with excellent academic record
6.
Medical officer - MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification
included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian medical Council Act, 1956
(102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian
Medical Register.
7.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) - B.E. / B.Tech. in relevant field
from a recognized University or Institute.
8.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) -B.E. / B.Tech. in
relevant field from a recognized University or Institute
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (Post 1 -
57 Years), (Post 2 - 45 Years), (Post
3 - 40 Years), (Post 4,5,6 -
35 Years), (Post 7,8 - 36 Years). The Upper
age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper
