Educational
Qualification:
1.
Engineer - in - charge - MOT 2nd Class (Combined or Motor)
Certificate issued under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 + 2 years’ experience
as independent Watch – Keeping Engineer on board a Foreign-going ship
2.
Chief Engineer - MOT 1st Class (Combined or Motor)
Certificate issued under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 + 3 years’ experience
as Chief Engineer or 4 years combined experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd
Engineer on board a Foreign going ship
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment Age Limit Should not exceed (For
Post 1 - 30 Years), (for Post 2 -
37 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for
OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13
years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates
Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through Engineer
