Eligibility Criteria for IITM Pune Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist D - Essential Qualification: A First class Masters Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications or Information Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or a First class Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology. A minimum of 07 years of Post qualification working experience in High Performance Computing Systems, technologies and its related software's/ applications.

Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in the above subjects would be a desirable qualification.

2. Scientist C - Essential Qualification: A Masters Degree or equivalent in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Physics/ Geophysics/Mathematics from a recognized University/Institution with at least 60% marks at Post Graduation. A minimum of 5 years of experience of research (after Masters degree) in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences as evidenced by published papers.

Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in any of the above subjects would be a desirable qualification. At least two years’ experience (after Ph.D) in working with WRF models and experience in lightning parameterisation

Project Scientist - Essential Qualification: A First Class B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc.in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/Instrumentation Engineering with 2 years of post qualification research experience in relevant field.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in Design of ultra-low voltage signal amplifier and signal conditioning. Experience in high rate data transfer from DAQ to storage servers Experience in developing application using Lab View for measurements of meteorological parameters

Age Limit: (As on 15.10.2016)

Candidate’s IITM Pune Recruitment Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 50 Years), (for post 2 - 45 Years), (for Post 3 - 35 Years).
