Qualification:
For Postal/Sorting
Assistant -
a) Pass in 10+2 standard
or 12th class pass from recognized University/ Board of School Education, Board
of Secondary Education (excluding vocational/JOC streams).
b) Candidates with higher
education are also eligible but they have to fulfill the requirements mentioned
in sub Para (a) above. There are no bonus marks for higher education.
c) Candidates who have
passed 12th standard/10+2 in vocational course or Job Oriented Course (JOC) are
not eligible.
d) Sports Qualification-
as per Para Given Notification
ii). For Postman:
a) Matriculation from a recognized Board or
University.
b) Candidates with higher
education are also eligible but they have to fulfill the requirements mentioned
in sub Para (a) above. There are no bonus marks for higher education.
c) Sports Qualification-
as per Para Given Notification
iii). For MTS:
a) Matriculation or ITI
from a recognized Board.
b) Candidates with higher education are also
eligible but they have to fulfill the requirements mentioned in sub Para (a)
above. There are no bonus marks for higher education.

Sports qualifications:
1. Sportsperson
who have represented a state or the country in the National or International
competitions in the sports/games.
2. Sportsperson
who have represented their University in the Inter-University tournaments
conducted by the Inter- University sports boards in the sports/games.
3. Sportsperson
who have represented the State School Team in the National Sports/Games for the
schools conducted by the All India School Sports / Games Federation in the
sports/games.
4. Sportsmen
who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National
Physical Efficiency Drive.
Details of discipline under which recruitment will be made are given below:
Age Limit: Candidates Age should be between (For Post 1, 2, 3,18 to 27 years), (For Post 4 - 18 to 25 Years) as on
24.08.2016. Relaxations in upper age limit For OBC 3 Years, For SC/ST
Candidates 5 Years. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided
as per Govt. Rules
Pay Scale:

Postal Assistant - Rs.5200-20200+GP 2400/-
2.
Sorting Assistant - Rs.5200-20200+GP 2400/-
3.
Postman - Rs.5200-20200+GP 2000/-
4.
MTS - Rs.5200-20200+GP 1800/-
Application Fee: All the Applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, in favour of “Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle” payable at the Post Office “New Delhi GPO, New Delhi-110001”. Original Indian Postal Order must be enclosed with the duly filled application form.

Notification) on or before 24.08.2016
