Qualification:
A.
Fabrication assistants on contract:
Pass in
SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective
trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a
Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company
B.
Outfit assistants on contract:
(I) Pass in
SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective
trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a
Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company.
C.
General Worker (Canteen):
(1) Pass in
VII Std.
(2) One
year Certificate Course in Food Production/ Food and Beverages Service from a
Government Food Craft Institute/ Two year Vocational Certificate in Catering
and Restaurant Management from an institution recognised by Central/State
Government will be preferred.
(3)
Knowledge of Malayalam desirable + Minimum of three years experience in
preparation or serving of meals in a Factory Canteen that caters to a minimum
of 250 workers / in a 3 Star Hotel / in a reputed and licensed Food Catering
Service Agency.
D.Semi
Skilled Rigger - Pass in IV Std + Minimum of three years experience in
rigging of which two years in rigging of heavy duty machine parts, assisting in
the erection of machinery/ equipment etc, in a Shipbuilding/ Ship repair yard
or Heavy Engineering Industry. Good knowledge of splicing work of wire ropes.
E.
Project assistants on contract:
(i) Three
year Diploma in respective Branch of Engineering with 60% of marks from a State
Board of Technical Education + Minimum of two years post qualification
experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/Heavy
Engineering Industry. Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment
would be advantageous
(ii)
Three
year Diploma in Commercial Practice or Information Technology or Computer
Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education +
Minimum of two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/
Marine Engineering Training Institute/Heavy Engineering Industry. Proficiency
and experience of working in a computerized environment would be advantageous
(iii) Post
Graduate Degree in Commerce from a recognised University + Minimum of two years
post qualification Industrial experience/ training in the finance department of
government or a large private/ public sector enterprise. Proficiency and
experience in working in computerized environment
Age Limit: Candidates Age should not exceed 30 Years As On 24.08.2016. Relaxations
in upper age limit For OBC 3 Years, For SC/ST Candidates 5 Years. Candidates
Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
Pay Scale:
For (A, B. D) - Rs. 14000/-
For (C, E) - Rs. 15600/-
Selection Procedure: Written Exam, Practical
