Qualification:
Occupational
Therapist - i) Must have passed Higher
Secondary Course. and ii). A Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy 3 year’s
course with 6 months internship until 1997 (or) Four years course with 6 months
internship in Occupational Therapy awarded by any University recognized by the
University Grants Commission
Prosthetic
Craftsman - a) Must have passed Higher
Secondary Examination and b) Must have obtained two years diploma in Prosthetics
and Orthotics awarded by the Directorate Technical Education or its equivalent
Diploma from any other Institution recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Audiometrician
- i). Must have passed HSC with subjects
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or physics, Chemistry, Biology with any
one of the related subjects. ii). Must have passed a one year certificate
course in Audiometry from Government Medical Institutions under the control of
the Director of Medical Education or in any other Institution recognized by the
State or Central Government.
EEG/EMG
Technician - i). A pass in HSC with
Science Subjects (a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) (b) Physics,
Chemistry and Biology ii). Must have passed the one year Certificate course in
EEG/EMG conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of
Director of Medical Education (or) in any other institution recognized by the
State / Central Governmen

Years, For SC/ST, SCA, BC, BCM, MBC&DNC Candidates - 25 to 57 Years
Prosthetic

Selection Procedure: Written Exam, Interview
Application Fee: Rs.
500 /-(Rupees Five Hundred only) be paid by all the candidates (excluding
candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST communities and eligible Differently abled
Persons (DAP)). SC/SCA/ST and DAP (PH), Destitute Widow candidates have to pay
Rs. 250 /- (Rupees Two hundred and Fifty only).
