Qualification:
Engineer (Fire): First class full-time
Engineering Degree in Fire / Fire & Safety from a recognized Indian
University / Institute with not less than 60% marks in aggregate of all
Semesters / Years. Preference will be given to candidates possessing Diploma in
Industrial Safety duly recognized by State Factory Inspectorate and valid Heavy
Motor Vehicle Driving License.
Junior Technical Assistant
(Fire & Safety): Matriculate (10th Pass) with minimum 50% marks from a
Board or an Institute recognized by State / Central Govt. Knowledge of English
(reading & writing) is preferable. Candidates must possess Fireman’s
Certificate Course of not less than three months duration from a Board or an
Institute recognized by the State / Central Govt. Candidate must possess valid
Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License. Preference will be given to candidate with
certificate in “Diploma in Industrial Safety” from a Board or an Institute
recognized by State / Central Govt.
Experience (As On
31.10.2015):
Engineer (Fire): Two years relevant
post-qualification work experience. Preference will be given to candidates
having experience Petroleum Refinery / Hydro-carbon / Petrochemical /
Fertilizer.
Junior Technical Assistant
(Fire & Safety): Two years experience of working in Fire & Safety set-up of
handling firefighting equipments, Fire water networks, related communication
systems, emergency handling, Fire Fighting, Operation of Fire Tenders / pump
house etc. Preference will be given to candidates having experience Petroleum
Refinery / Hydro-carbon / Petrochemical / Fertilizer. The Apprenticeship
Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, shall be considered as work
experience.
Age Limit:
Engineer (Fire): 30 years. Age relaxation
to Ex-servicemen as per Govt. Rules
Junior Technical Assistant
(Fire & Safety): 28 years (31 years for OBC candidates). Age relaxation to
Ex-servicemen as per Govt. Rules
Pay Scale:
Engineer - Rs. 24,900/-
Jr. Technical Assistant -
Rs. 11,900/-
Selection Procedure:
Engineer (Fire): Through Personal
Interview.
Junior Technical
Assistant:
Through written test / Interview only for those candidates who possess
prescribed Physical Standards and also qualify in the Endurance Test, which
include running, load carrying, rope climbing, man carrying, etc. The
candidates will have to pass successfully through each stage of the selection
process including medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for selection.

candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

i) Engineer - Chemical: First
class full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Chemical /
Petroleum from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE
with not less than 60% marks in aggregate of all Semesters / Years. SC/ST
candidates need to score minimum Second class with 55% marks.
ii) Engineer-Mechanical:
First class full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in
Mechanical from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE
with not less than 60% marks in aggregate of all Semesters / Years. SC/ST
candidates need to score minimum Second class with 55% marks.
Experience: Candidates with relevant post qualification work
experience will be given preference over the other candidates. The
Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, shall be considered
as part of work experience
Age Limit: Age limit as on 31.10.2015: Maximum 35
years (including age relaxation of 5 years for PwD candidates). Upper age limit
is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC
(non-creamy layer) candidates
Pay Scale: Rs.24,900-50,500/-
Selection Procedure: Through Personal Interview.
